The Raveonettes announce UK tour

The Raveonettes have announced details of a UK tour.

The band, who are set to release their new album 'Lust Lust Lust' on November 12, hit the road the day after the album's release at London's King College.

They will play the Tunnel Vision Festival near Bristol on November 25.

Oxford Zodiac (23) Rufus Wainwright played tribute to Judy Garland at Oxegen Festival today (July 8).

The singer played two songs by the legend- 'A Foggy Day In London Town' and 'If Love Were All'-accompanied by a pianist.

He introduced the tracks by saying: "We're going to do two Judy Garland songs, just to give you all a break."

Commenting on the fact that the sun had come out after the rain, Wainwright said, after playing 'Between My Legs': "The sun always comes out when I play here. I'm the cloud of global warming. Fuck global warming."

The singer played a traditional Irish song 'Macushlah' and introduced it by saying: "I'm going to do something I've never done before at a festival- I'm going to play a traditional Irish song. My mother Kate, Kate the great, made me sing it."
